3 I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Commentary: The resurrection is at the heart of the Gospel, and the Good News. Billy Graham recalled having a meeting with German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer. With Germany in ruins from the Second World War Graham said Adenauer turned and asked what was the most important thing in the world. Graham said before he could answer Adenauer offered that it was the resurrection of Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ is alive, then there is hope for the world, he went on to tell Graham.
